ROMOFORD : femelle, 6 ans, 16 kg A notre connaissance, Romoford a passé les cinq premières années de sa vie dans les rues de l’île de Phuket. Elle a survécu en s’appuyant sur son intelligence et en évitant le danger. En août 2021, la gentille personne qui nourrissait Romoford a remarqué qu’elle boitait et souffrait. Elle a appelé Soi Dog Foundtion pour obtenir de l’aide et l’un des membres de l’équipe de secours a récupéré Romoford. Elle a été emmenée au refuge pour y être soignée. Romoford a subi une intervention chirurgicale et une physiothérapie mais, malheureusement, elle souffrait toujours et boitait. Le vétérinaire a pris la décision de lui amputer la jambe pour soulager ses douleurs et elle a bien récupéré après l’opération. Romoford est une fille douce et affectueuse qui aime se promener. Elle s’entend avec les autres chiens et est tranquillement confiante lorsqu’elle rencontre de nouvelles personnes et des chiens inconnus. Elle serait un excellent ajout à toute famille et a hâte de commencer sa nouvelle vie au Canada.
ROMOFORD: female, 6 years, 16kg As far as we know Romoford spent the first five years of her life on the streets of Phuket Island. She survived by relying on her wits and avoiding danger. In August 2021 the kind person who was feeding Romoford noticed that she was limping and in pain. She called Soi Dog Foundtion for help and one of the rescue team collected Romoford. She was taken to the shelter for treatment. Romoford had surgery and physiotherapy but, unfortunately, she was still pain and limping. The vet made the decision to amputate her leg to relieve her pain and she recovered well after the operation. Romoford is a gentle, affectionate girl who loves going for walks. She gets on with other dogs and is quietly confident when encountering new people and unfamiliar dogs. She would be a great addition to any family and can’t wait to start her new life in Canada.
